Today, Cory takes us through this week's astro-weather with astrologer, artist, and mythologist Nate Speare. The major transits of the week include: Chiron's station retrograde, Mercury's square to Uranus, Mercury's conjunction to Venus, and Mercury's entrance into Virgo. Nate Speare (he/they/firebird) is an astrologer, vocal artist, storyteller, mythologist, and educator based in Brooklyn. Nate began their public astrological journey as Montgomery Taylor’s teaching assistant at the CG Jung Institute of NYC (at the Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism). Nate’s background in avant garde performance, experimental voice work, bodywork & mythopoetics shape their experiential approach to astrology.
Renee Sills is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, astrologer, and educator. The throughline of their work is an ongoing investigation of spirituality, relationship, creative agency, and the adaptive processes of the human body in contemporary landscapes. As an educator, Renee’s unique facilitation style blends embodiment practices (somatics, yoga, dance,) environmental and relational attunement, esoteric philosophical study, and creative arts and writing. She is a second generation astrologer and lifetime practitioner of astrology. Renee has been working and training for nearly 20 years as a somatic educator and energy worker. She holds a BFA and MFA in contemporary art.
